Although this is my 8th year in Ladue, I spent 18 years teaching in the Hazelwood School District prior to coming to Ladue. I have taught Kindergarten, First, Second, and Fifth Grades. I received my bachelor's degree at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I received my master's degree in Educational Processes from Maryville University as well as a second master's degree in Gifted Education from Lindenwood University. I have a desire to learn, and I really enjoy the challenges and joy that teaching brings. I look forward to an exciting year full of wonder and learning.
I moved around quite a bit while I was growing up, as my dad served in the U.S. Air Force. We lived in Italy, Germany, Texas, Florida, Illinois, and a couple of other mid-western states. My parents met overseas, and I was born in Italy. We lived there until I was about 3 years old. My mom's side of the family still lives in Italy, and the country still has a piece of my heart. When I retire, I have a dream of traveling around like I did when I was younger.
I would love to share a few more things about my family.

In this photo, you see our little guy Snoop! He's the baby of the family and the most spoiled! He's definitely added some excitement, energy, and mischief to our lives! 😂
Our youngest and oldest kids both love soccer.
Very fun to watch them play!
We love to spend time together-- traveling when we can.
Italy was the highlight of the summer of 2019! Visiting my family and showing my kids where I am from was an unforgettable experience!
We also love the outdoors.
I look forward to getting to know your child and your family during our years together.
Here's to learning, growing, and getting to know each other!
