Hello! My name is Lisa, and I am thrilled to be your child's teacher in Idea Lab. My journey into teaching gifted students began when my son, who was part of the gifted program, faced unique challenges and displayed remarkable intensities. This experience inspired me to dive deeper into understanding the needs of gifted learners. As I learned more, I became passionate about working with the gifted population, and I found immense fulfillment in teaching and supporting these extraordinary students.
I love spending time with my family, including my husband, who is a principal in the same district, my son, a junior in college, and my daughter, a junior in high school. In my free time, I enjoy reading, taking long walks with my dog, dining outdoors, and traveling—whether it’s exploring beautiful national parks or visiting places like Italy, where we have family, and Japan, which we recently visited while my son was studying abroad.
