2nd and 3rd Graders Making an Impact on our Planet

I'm incredibly proud of our 2nd and 3rd grade students for their impressive Submerged presentations! This year's theme focused on exploring and solving challenges related to our world's oceans. Their poise and confidence were remarkable as they shared fascinating insights on how we can protect our oceans-- and ultimately our planet. Their hard work and creativity truly inspired us all!

(Created an organic farm with smart sprinklers and electric tractors to reduce chemical pollution that may leach into oceans)

(Turning ocean plastic into creative solutions)

(Building artificial reefs out of old playground equipment, old automobiles, and other potential landfill items to help marine ecosystems)

(Established an ocean National Park, guarded and protected by Ocean Rangers to preserve marine life)

(Created an aqua drone to collect ocean plastic, sending it straight to recycling facilities for a cleaner planet)

(Designed underwater submersibles and science labs to study & protect coral reefs as well as raise awareness about reducing our land-based footprint)

(Collecting micoplastics and converting them into clean energy with their eco-safe generator they call Sazam)

Each student’s dedication and creativity truly shined through in their presentations, and together, they have made a lasting impact!
